Emma Nyra,the sexy singer has reportedly left Made Men  Music Group   which is jointly owned by Ubi Franklin and Iyanya after a disagreement with her manager and the CEO of the record label, Ubi Franklin. Emma was said to have quietly left the label a few weeks ago and now managed and sponsored by a f amily member. Wish her the best of luck!

The University of Benin was in a kind of chaos today Monday December 9th as members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, (ASUU) UNIBEN chapter disrupted an ongoing lecture at the Faculty of Law at the university. Some UNIBEN lecturers resumed last week following the Federal Government’s directive to resume work and as one lecturer gathered his students to begin his class, The Union members stormed the lecture room and stopped it. The Vice Chancellor of the University was forced to call the police to intervene but the unrelenting ASUU task force members clashed with them, putting an end to all on-going lectures at the University which is a makes it a true fact that the strike still continues.

Music producer, OJB Jezreel has finally returned to Nigeria after months spent in India during which he was undergoing a kidney transplant that turned out to be successful.OJB who was earlier expected to return on Saturday, 7th December returned on Thursday, 5th December which was arranged to surprise everyone.His return at an earlier date was arranged to make it a surprise for everyone.Reports claim that Jezreel is being lodged now in a hotel at an undisclosed, secret location, not far from his Surulere, Lagos residence. This is to allow him have enough rest as he recuperates and to avoid being disturbed by fans who anxiously looked forward to receive him.

President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday arrived in Paris,France to join other world leaders that are participating in a submit on peace and security in Africa.The President has also declared three days of national mourning in honour of former South African President who passed away yesterday,thursday.In a statement signed by the special adviser to the president,Reuben Abati,an instruction was given that flags are to be flown at half mast across the country during the period.The president also calls for special prayers in churches and mosques during the period of mourning which begins today,for the peaceful repose of the Mandela's soul.A special inter-denominational memorial service for Dr.Mandela will be held at the state house chapel on sunday.

The South African government has announced the death of the former president and anti-apartheid revolutionary,Nelson Mandela.He was 95.Mandela passed away this evening at around 8:50pm local time in the company of his family in Johannesburg after a prolonged lung infection.President Jacob Zuma said flags will be flown at half-mast across South Africa immediately with a state burial to follow.According to the UK government,flags will also be flown at half mast in the UK.He has been receiving treatment for the past three years and has been critically ill for the past six months.President Mandela was an extraordinary man,whose confidence,fighting spirit and love for his country inspired the world.The anti-apartheid icon served as South Africa's 1st black president from 1994 to 1999 after spending about 27 years in the Robben Island prison. Madiba as he was affectionately known by many in South Africa was released in 1990 and went on to guide his country to democracy .REST IN PEACE...
