NELSON MANDELA DIES AT 95

The South African government has announced the death of the former president and anti-apartheid revolutionary,Nelson Mandela.He was 95.Mandela passed away this evening at around 8:50pm local time in the company of his family in Johannesburg after a prolonged lung infection.President Jacob Zuma said flags will be flown at half-mast across South Africa immediately with a state burial to follow.According to the UK government,flags will also be flown at half mast in the UK.He has been receiving treatment for the past three years and has been critically ill for the past six months.President Mandela was an extraordinary man,whose confidence,fighting spirit and love for his country inspired the world.The anti-apartheid icon served as South Africa's 1st black president from 1994 to 1999 after spending about 27 years in the Robben Island prison. Madiba as he was affectionately known by many in South Africa was released in 1990 and went on to guide his country to democracy.REST IN PEACE,OUR DEAR MADIBA!!!

Actresses yvonne nelson,jackie appiah and juliet ibrahim once again stunned the crowd with their fabulous outfits at the Ghana Movie Awards held about five days ago. Jackie Appiah who won the GMA's "Best Actress In A Leading Role" for the second time wore a sparkling floor length ball gown and a ruby red lipstick while Juliet Ibrahim wore a shimmering floor length gown by Ophelia Crossland Designs with a classic award show hairdo.
