Kim Kardashian shocked the world when she and Kanye West revealed that they had named their baby 'North' and momager Kris Jenner has now revealed that talkshow host Jay Leno is responsible for the choice of name.
During Kris' appearance on NBC’s The Tonight Show last night, Jay Leno played footage of his interview with Kim K from March, in which he brought up an Internet rumour claiming North would be the baby’s name.
The reality star then denied the rumour, but according to Jenner, had second thoughts after taping the show.
“This is a true story, and I am not messing with you,” Jenner told Leno, adding: “She called me and she goes ‘you know what? Somebody had mentioned the name before. I never really took it seriously. I didn’t think about it. And mom, after Jay brought it up, I think I want to name the baby North.’”
Kris then pointed to Leno and said “I think you’re responsible,” to which the talkshow host responded “so it’s fault''
"I'm pro-North, absolutely. The way [Kim] explained it to me was that North means highest power, and she says that North is their highest point together. And I thought that was really sweet."
